Elli Acic

Principal Physiotherapist

B.App.Sc (PHTY), Cert. Acup, APAM

Following this, Elli realised her passion was in the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions. She has since been working in private practice for 15 years. She began working in a busy sports injury practice which specialised in soccer and football injuries and then when on to work at a highly regarded practice The Physio Posture and Fitness clinic in Randwick that had a strong focus in spinal and pelvic dysfunctions. During this time Elli completed her certificate in Acupuncture with the Australian Physiotherapy Association and gained experience using Real Time Ultrasound and instructing Clinical Pilates, with and without machines.

After the birth of her first child Elli spent the next 6 years working closely with a specialist physiotherapist, lecturer and author Trish Wisbey-Roth at another one of Sydney's highly regarded practice's in Oatley.

Elli has developed expertise in the treatment and management of complex spinal and pelvic disorders along with her background of sports injury management. She has also developed a passion in the treatment and management of headaches, neck, rib, shoulder and TMJ (Jaw) dysfunctions. She has engaged in further training for these areas, attending courses around Australia.

Elli graduated as a physiotherapist from the University of Sydney in 2004, with the Neurophysiotherapy award. She spent her first year as a new graduate at St George Hospital gaining experience in all fields of physiotherapy, particularly in the outpatients department. This year also included a 3 month secondment to Broken Hill Base Hospital, where she spent time working with the Royal Flying Doctors Service.

Elli strives to combine hands on treatment and exercise prescription in the management and treatment of her patients and focuses on a functional and long term recovery for each patient. She has received much appraisal regarding her ability to effectively explain and treat a condition and also for her to kind nature towards each patient. 

In the first 10 years of private practice Elli has combined working in the clinic with teaching other physiotherapists and fellow health professionals. She has taught the sports massage component at the NSW School of Massage, spoken at various conferences, appeared on Channel 9 news and Today Extra and has trained physiotherapists from around Australia to be Bounce Back instructors.

Elli recently completed a 10 month mentorship program with Diane Lee and associates from Canada and is an accredited ISM practitioner.

Helen Makrillos

Physiotherapist

B.App.Sc (PHTY), M.H.Sc (Muscoloskeletal and Sports Therapy) APAM

Helen completed her Physiotherapy degree with honours at Sydney University in 2001. Her pursuit of knowledge led her to complete a Masters in both Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapy in 2007. Helen has over 15 years of experience in both the public and private physiotherapy sectors gaining a wide range of knowledge and skills throughout this time. She has worked at the Prince of Wales Hospital, busy eastern suburbs private practises and solely.

Helen is experienced in providing treatment for a variety of occupational, motor vehicle, sport and aged related injuries, and chest and home-based physiotherapy.

Helen is passionate about catering treatments to suit individual needs and goals. Helen enjoys assisting her patients reach their ultimate potential through a combination of hands on therapy and exercise prescription.

Helen recently completed a 10 month mentorship program with Diane Lee and associates from Canada and is an accredited ISM practitioner.  

Keira Kipriotis

Physiotherapist

BHSc, MPhysio, APAM

Keira graduated with a Master of Physiotherapy from the University of Technology Sydney and holds a Bachelor of Health Science (UTS). Throughout her studies, Keira gained a range of experience working in private practice and public hospitals and has treated a variety of conditions in respiratory physio, neuro rehab and hands therapy. She also previously worked as a sports physio for the Dunbar Rovers F.C. youth boys’ soccer team and treated a range of sport specific injuries.

Keira is passionate towards helping people return back to what they love doing. Keira’s clinical interests include hand, knee, ankle and lower back injuries, as well as rehabilitation of neurological conditions. She also comes from a long-standing background of swimming and rock climbing, and so enjoys treating conditions and injuries related to them, and understands the complex needs related to them. 

Through her exposure to different fields of physiotherapy Keira gained a strong interest in the rehab/private practice setting, as she enjoys helping and seeing her patients achieve their goals and reach their maximum potential.

Keira is currently offering Home Visits for the clinic for those requiring in home rehabilitation. ​

Keira has recently completed the APA Level 1 Women's Pelvic Health course and will continue to upskill in this area as a excellent adjunct to the clinics speciality in treating lumbo-pelvic and hip disorders.

Michael Gavan

Physiotherapist

BHsc, MPhysio APAM

Michael graduated with a Masters of Physiotherapy from the University of Sydney and also holds a Bachelor Of Health Science (USYD). Through his studies he has treated patients in both public and private hospitals, neurological conditions and cardiorespiratory conditions. Michael has had experience in treating a variety of musculoskeletal conditions from previous private practice work which includes workplace injuries and motor vehicle accidents.

Michael is passionate about assisting people to return to their everyday activities and sporting ambitions pain free. Michael has enjoyed playing soccer for most of his life and has had multiple injuries along the way.  He understands the struggles of returning to your sport and hobbies and the frustrations that may arise when trying to reach your goals.

Michael prioritises building rapport with his patients ensuring they understand their injury and the rehabilitation process with clear communication. 

Michael is particularly interested in treating lower back pain, knee and ankle injuries.

Christina Sacchetta

Massage Therapist

BHSc(Comp Med) ND Dip RM

Christina is a member of ATMS and received her Diploma of Remedial Massage in 1994 from the NSW School of Therapeutic Massage in Sydney. After several years treating with massage she realised she was limited in her treatments and wanted a holistic approach. In 2005 she graduated as a Naturopath.

Christina’s passion is in helping others using a holistic approach . Each treatment is tailored according to your individual needs. A combination of relaxation and remedial techniques , such as trigger point therapy, myofascial release, lymphatic and guasha, are provided for a deep therapeutic experience.​

Through these techniques she offers:

  • Remedial Massage

  • Lymphatic Massage

  • Pregnancy Massage

  • Remedial Hot stone Massage.

Nicole Renni

Administration​

Nikki has over 35 years in customer service working across the fields of telecommunications, beauty, recruitment and retail.

Her roles have included account management, sales, project management  and customer service. Whether
over the phone or face to face she loves helping people and giving everyone a personal and happy experience.

Nikki has lived in the UK and the United Emirates she loves being part of our team and the frontline for our clinic.
